Fuji’s new X Series release X-E4, XF 27mm and XF 70 to 300mm
Now as a camera fan and enthusiastic photographer I was very happy to see some amazing gear from Fuji this week. In this article we will be looking at the full release and specs of X series products that were dropped graciously in front of all of us to throw our hard earned money at.
First of all we are looking at the X-E4 an APCS enthusiast level camera that has a beautiful design that truly belongs to Fujifilm and never gets old. The 26.1 sensor comes with all the features we love on Fuji cameras, It weighs only 364 grams and is one of their smallest X series frames to date.

Key Features include
- .02 second autofocus speeds
- X Trans 4” Sensor
- Almost 100% autofocus coverage on the sensor
- 2 colours – black and silver
- Face and eye detection
- Oversampled 6k footage
- 8 bit internal or 10 bit external
- 1080p at 240fps
The camera is a street photographer’s dream with impressive video qualities and design to die for, As usual with the Fujifilm gear.

Next on the list to look at is the len’s that accompanies this bad boy.
XF27mm F2.8 R WR
Here we are looking at a weather resistant pancake lens with a sweet aperture of f2.8. We have an incredibly compact option with some sweet image quality. Sharp enough for good bokeh but not too sharp that it’s overly challenging. This to me is the dream for street photography, walking around Brisbane with this pancake lens on the small body is a minimalist dream. Camera in pocket and your off. Retailing for a friendly $699AU

Also on the shop counter ready for pick up is the
The XF70-300mmF4.5-5.6 is a compact telephoto zoom lens. So if you are ok taking a small camera bag out for the day and want to compliment your 24mm pancake lens then the XF 70 to 300 offers the reach you want. Coming in with 5.5 stops of image stabilisation and silent AF motor and it’s compatible with Fujifilm’s 1.4 and 2x Teleconverters. The kit here is one you can hit the road with immediately and also build to as your kit grows. The 70 to 300 will set you back $1449AU
